If the cartridge stops working before its normal print capacity runs out, we will refund the unprinted part. This Canon 0335C001 GY ink cartridge is NOT an original cartridge produced by the printer manufacturer, so it is a so-called replacement supply cartridge. By law, the use of a supply cartridge does not invalidate the warranty granted to the printer. Of course, the printer manufacturer is not responsible for any (very unlikely) damages directly caused by using a non-original cartridge. In practice, however, ink cartridges do not damage printers, whether it is an original or an accessory cartridge. Print cartridge (rare) problems are usually related to print quality or the fact that the printer does not recognize that the cartridge has changed (related to driver software updates).
